Your super fund

Finding out about your super account

Your employer can tell you the name of the fund they currently pay your superannuation contributions into.
The fund can tell you the balance of your superannuation savings and other important information. Most funds have a website or helpline where you can get information about the fund or answers to your questions.

Give the fund your current address and ask them to send you:
  • Your member statements (if you don't already have them).
  • A copy of the fund's Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
The PDS contains specific details about your fund.

Check your six-monthly superannuation statements for information about your account balance, employer and personal contributions, insurance premiums and fees.

If you have superannuation from previous jobs, read more about how you can track down lost superannuation on the ATO's website.

In most cases, if you work for the WA State Government your employer superannuation contributions are paid into GESB. If you are unsure which fund your super contributions are paid into contact your HR officer.
